GNSS-Reflectometry /rəˌflɛkˈtɑmətri/ (GNSS-R): A technology that was first introduced as a space-borne altimetry at the European Space Agency in the early 90's. GNSS-R operates as a passive system, with multiple orbiting satellites act as radar transmitters.
The Reflectometry occurs when the direct and reflected signals of those satellites are captured by the sensor. Our founder was involved in the early development at ESA. The team has decades of experience in remote sensing, electromagnetics, and signal processing, driving our commitment to innovation.

This patented sensor provides an unparalleled measurement accuracy. The measurements obtained are four dimensional accounting for latitude and longitude, height, and time.
The multiple measurements collected simultaneously from the satellites in the sky, provide a map of water level measurements that gets integrated into a very accurate reading.
Installation
Our sensors have been deployed worldwide (e.g. USA, Europe, Mexico, Japan, Australia, …) proving their reliability over time.
Divirod sensors are installed above water and can be mounted on nearby buildings—such as walls, windows, or rooftops—as well as on railings, light poles, and other elevated structures with an unobstructed view of the water and the open sky.
Once the sensor is installed, Divirod manages all operational aspects—including data collection, data management, security, and sensor health—ultimately delivering a seamless, white-glove data service experience.
Maintenance and Calibration Free
